“God, I trust you…”-Mikeschair

Oct 31, 2010

Lately, I’ve been going through a time when I’m looking up at God asking, “What are you thinking?!” I’m a planner by nature, and I hate times like this when he asks me to just look to today. When I have no idea what tomorrow or next week or next month might hold. Just today.

The “don’t be anxious” verses in Matt. 6 keep coming to mind, as well as this one in Isaiah:

Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God. -Isaiah 50:10

Though times like this are hard, I know in my head that God will see me through. He has done so in the past, and He will do so again. It’s just the waiting and wondering that is so hard. The trusting part. God, please help me with the trusting part…Let the Waters Rise-Mikeschair
