Broken…

…he fell into a chair at the breakfast bar and just stared at her. “What do you mean…” he trailed off. “What about…”

“It’s not who I really am,” Sarah answered, the response sounding lame even to her.

“Don’t you want to get married,” Will asked holding both hands up like he was trying to catch her answer.

“Well, yes, one of these days. But I’m not who you think I am, Will. I can’t be the happy little homemaker you want me to be,” Sarah replied. She rushed on, “It not that homemaking is a bad thing, it’s just not who I am. It’s not what I want to spend my life doing right now…
