New Year New Writers!

Jan 1, 2014

I have some exciting announcements to share!

This year I’m bringing on two more writers to Over A Cup. Cindy Cain, my mom, and Amber Leech, my sister. You might remember them from their God Stories: Cindy and Amber.

Cindy brings with her over 30 years experience as a God follower and Mother. She has walked with God through joyful seasons and ones that have brought her to her knees. Because of her experiences she instilled in me a love for God and helped me to develop my own relationship and personal quiet time with Him while I was growing up. I know you will be blessed by her insights and the stories she has to share.

Amber is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in equine therapy. She, too, has a heart that seeks God continually and wants to help others do the same. Just like Cindy and I, she has walked with God through many ups and downs of life. Her experiences have allowed her to minister to her clients, and I know will help her minister to you as well.

With the addition of Cindy and Amber, you can expect the same type of content, but from diverse perspectives, which will help to serve to you in ways I can’t fully do on my own.
Along with new writers we’ll have a few changes to our posting schedule this year. To give you better quality posts and less to keep up with in your reader and email inbox, we will continue to post mainly on Mondays, though you may occasionally see a post on another day. The new schedule will be:
  • 1st Monday- Tara
  • 2nd Monday- Amber
  • 3rd Monday- Cindy
  • 4th Monday- God Story
For two years the God Story post each month continues to be the most popular, so I’m going to continue bringing you stories each month from Godly Women. If you have a God Story to share or know of someone who does, please contact me at tlcole@overacup.org to learn more.
In the next few months you can also look forward to changes like a “Resources” tab that will link to you many great Bible study, Children’s Bible study, Christian walk, and personal growth resources. You can find some of them linked for you now to the right and under the “Friday Favs” tab, but this new tab will have these resources better organized and more easily accessible for you.
I’m so excited about what the New Year will bring here a Over A Cup, and I hope you are, too!
Seek Him First,
~t.

Do you find it hard to study the Bible?

It doesn’t have to be.

Let me help you learn a technique for studying that makes it simple. Join me as we study one chapter each week and memorize two verses of scripture each month.

You’ll be amazed at the difference it makes in your life.
