Remember….
“….as I sat there I remembered all the dreams I had as a kid,” Sarah said. “How I wanted to go and explore the world. To go and help people. I remembered how it felt the first time we went and served on a mission trip. How right it felt to wear myself out for someone else.”
“Things change, dear. You can still do all those things. But now that you’re getting married in a few weeks. It will all look a bit different than your childhood fantasies,” Mom said.
“No, that’s just it,” Sarah said, “I don’t want it to look different. I don’t think I want stop dreaming just yet.”
“Sarah, it’s not that you stop dreaming. You just start dreaming together.”
“But that’s just it, Mom. He doesn’t want to dream. At least not my dreams…”
Will burst into the kitchen…
Fiction Friday is for me to have fun and get back in the habit of writing fiction. I hope you enjoy it! To check out the previous installments of this story click here. The first one is at the bottom.
I’m using the Gypsy Mama’s Friday prompts to get me started. Every Friday writers join together at LisaJoBaker.com for Five Minute Friday. One word, five minutes, no editing, and no back tracking. Come join the fun!
Intriguing! I definitely was left wanting to read on! Blessings! Anna
Dear One
I hear your heart for I think I also used to dream that way, but time has taught me to place my dreams on a scale and to see that our dreams balanced each other.
Much love
Mia

God bless!
Cute!
My mother in law had the same dream. Was told the same thing. In the end it all worked out. She retired from teaching and traveled to China, all over Europe and South America on mission trips and had a GREAT TIME. Love her stories.
Thank you, Ladies, for your comments and encouragement! They mean a lot as I try an old/new thing.
