“Thunder rollin’, Lighten’ flashin’ right through the middle of it I go dashing.” –old song

Well the rain is back. Yeah! When I was in the post office yesterday I heard some people ahead of me complaining about the weather we’ve been having. My first reaction was to cover their mouths—but I restrained myself. I know we’ve been having tornadoes and hail, but so far not the “too much” rain we had last year. So far, regardless, of the complaints around, the rain has been just enough, at least here in central OK. I hope it keeps coming in just enough. After being in Hawaii for three months, the brown of winter was beginning to get to me. I have been craving the lush green so badly that I, who have a brown thumb, have been buying the hardest plants to keep alive—coffee plants, orchids, and bromeliads. I’m beginning to think, though, that maybe Hawaii helped my brown thumb out a little. One of my orchids is getting ready to bloom and the other one is working on some roots. My Kona coffee plant is sprouting new leaves and the bromeliad it growing and growing.

And my outside garden survived the winter and is growing, too! Now it is all green with tulips, daffodils, and snowbells. For those of you who are plant growers this may seem like nothing, but for me it’s nothing short of a miracle.

How can we Build a Foundation of Faith in our Families?

By Abiding in Jesus.

Let me show you how.
