Ephesians: Let’s Get Started!

Oct 1, 2012

I’m so excited you’ve chosen to study Ephesians along with the Over A Cup group this fall! Like I mentioned before, Ephesians is one of my favorite books of the Bible. The first time I really read it, I was struggling with what was really important to us as Christians. I wondered, “Where should my focus be?” Reading Ephesians at the time helped me to see to the core of the matter that Jesus and what he did on the cross IS to be my number one focus, and then how I should live as a response of gratitude for what Christ did.

I especially love these first 14 verses. They tell us who we now are as a result of Christ’s sacrifice. As you read this week, let Paul’s words about who you are sink in deeply. Drink them up. They’re life giving truth.

Notice, everything we have “in him.” God has give us so much! And we have so much to be thankful for. Know after reading this no matter your life situation, you are deeply loved and richly blessed!

I can’t wait to hear your insights as you read this week! See you in our Over A Cup Facebook group!

God Bless,

t.
