In previous posts, I’ve mentioned a few of my other favorite Bible study ideas for those days when you only have a few minutes.

Today I want to share another one I just discovered, Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling. It has quickly become my daily Bible study book, since I received it for my birthday a few weeks ago. Yes, everybody seems to have read it in the last few years. Yes, everyone seems to have loved it. And no, I totally don’t jump on bandwagons. I’ve actually avoided it for that reason.

But, it really is as good as everyone says it is. Each day begins with a “message” from God to you. It’s like reading a little love note everyday. Then below it (in the version I have and the one I’ve linked above) are verses written out that go along with the note. Though, each day’s reading probably takes five minutes or less, they are still deep enough to give you something to think about and take with you throughout your day.

So if you’ve wanted to begin a daily Bible study, and you don’t have time to join our OverACup study of Luke this fall with, please check out this book from Sarah. You’ll find encouragement to help get you through each day and lessons to help draw you closer to God.

Above I linked the edition I have, however there are many more and even Kindle editions. Find them here.

Disclaimer: I have not been given these material by Young or her publisher for review or are receiving any compensation for this review. I simply love this book and want to pass it on to you.
