Today, I’m excited to share with you my first ebook! After several weeks of writing, formatting, and praying, it’s ready. It’s called The Real Women’s Manifesto: Getting Real with God and with Others.
About the Manifesto
It’s a call to action for women to stop pretending everything is fine and to open up and share our stories first with God and then with others. In sharing our stories they lose the power they hold over us, and we discover healing and freedom.
If you have a story to share or skeletons in your closet (and who doesn’t?) then this book is for you! I wrote it from my own experience with hiding and out of my readiness to quit pretending to God and to you.
It’s short and to the point, so you can read it in one sitting.

Getting Real
I hope this manifesto inspires you to connect with God and other women. If you need some ideas for how to connect with God regularly you can find resources here for how to get started.
Our community here on OverACup is a great place to connect with other women. You can connect with us in the blog post comments, on our Facebook page, or even in our private Bible study group.
I also realize you need to connect with women in real life. Here are some ways I’ve found to connect to others:
- Invite them out for coffee
- Invite them to go walking
- Invite them to a play date
Yes, you’ll notice that these all require you to step out of your comfort zone and invite someone. I’ve moved 5 times in the last 4 years and have learned all good friendships begin with an invitation. It can be very scary to meet someone new and extend an invitation (or even to invite out someone you kind of know), but I have been amazed at the friends I have found waiting on the other side of “Hello!”
