Podcast: Out of the Ordinary

Do you need a friend to say, “Me too!” Do you need someone to remind you of the importance of those small moments? Do you need someone to really see you and breath life into you? Then you need to listen to Lisa-Jo Baker and Christie Purifoy on the Out of the Ordinary podcast.

I have listened to this podcast from day one, and now Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week! Every Wednesday, I drop off my sons at school, turn on this podcast, and listen to Lisa-Jo and Christie as I drive 35 min to work. It feels like sitting down to coffee with two of my close friends. Love!

What a blessing to have them with me in the morning, to help me remember that although my days are filled with being a wife, mother, and teacher that those moments matter. That they are valuable and important.

I love how, though their stories, they help me see the extra-ordinary in my days. How the labels people put on us are not ones we have to carry. How our stories from the past inform our futures. How books we loved as children shape who we are now. How simple it can be to open our homes to others. No matter the stories they tell, their message is one of hope.

If you need some hope and girlfriends to hang out with, check out the Out of the Ordinary Podcast on your favorite podcast app. You’ll be blessed!
