In previous posts, I’ve mentioned a few of my other favorite Bible study ideas for those days when you only have a few minutes.
Today I want to share another one I just discovered, Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling. It has quickly become my daily Bible study book, since I received it for my birthday a few weeks ago. Yes, everybody seems to have read it in the last few years. Yes, everyone seems to have loved it. And no, I totally don’t jump on bandwagons. I’ve actually avoided it for that reason.
But, it really is as good as everyone says it is. Each day begins with a “message” from God to you. It’s like reading a little love note everyday. Then below it (in the version I have and the one I’ve linked above) are verses written out that go along with the note. Though, each day’s reading probably takes five minutes or less, they are still deep enough to give you something to think about and take with you throughout your day.

I LOVE this book. I found it before the masses, or like you, I may have taken a little bit of time before I jumped on the wagon… it’s a wonderful message from God… like a love note every day. 🙂
